Setting the Wind Rose requires access to the Internet, and you must install a mobile app from a developer you know and trust. You can also turn off the Vasari Wind Rose feature on your computer or mobile device via a menu item.
**To set the Wind Rose feature:**
1. Go to the home page of .
2. Click the **i**n the upper-left corner to open the **i**nstallation dialog box.
3. In the **i**nstallation dialog box, select **Developer Tools.**
4. In the dialog box, select **Advanced options.**
5. Select **Wind Rose** in the **Optional Tools** box.
6. Choose the **i**nternet connection that you prefer, and then click **Next**.
7. In the **Configure Now** section, select the **Update** option.
8. Click **I accept**.
9. In the **i**nstallation dialog box, select **Finish**.
10. Click **OK**.
11. In the **i**nstallation dialog box, click **Close**.
**Note:** As long as the **i**nternet connection you selected has a (wifi) public IP address, you can access .

**Note:** Your wifi network should [receive an IP address]{.ul} from your provider. If the network does not have an IP address, you must [create a configuration]{.ul} for your network. In addition, you may [add an IP address]{.ul} to your home network's router and configure your router to forward ports 443 and 80 to your computer.
**To connect to a wifi network:**
1. Open on your computer or mobile device.
